I used craft foam, some steam punk gelatos, paint and crystal effects (for the rivets). I think it looks pretty good for my first attemp! I would have liked to add some elements to it like gears or goggles but I left it too late... the day before was probably not such a good idea. If it survives the night, I can always add to it later. I think this ones a keeper. ;-)
This isn't exactly 'art' but it is creative. My 13 year old daughter is going trick or treating (her last year) as a broken steam punk doll. She has an outfit but it needed a little something... I decided to make her a mini top hat. I found someone on YouTube and tried to replicate what he did. I didn't have a pattern so it's a bit bigger than his but it'll do.
